Darchula: The government has formed a five-member committee to investigate the incident where Indian Border Security Force personnel allegedly cut off Tuin while Jaisingh Dhami was crossing the Mahakali from Tuin in Darchula.
As per the decision of the Home Minister, an investigation committee has been formed under the coordination of Joint Secretary of Home Ministry, Janardan Gautam to investigate the incident on the spot and submit a report within 10 days.
Sub Inspector of Nepal Police Purushottam Kandel, Director of Investigation of the National Investigation Department Hutraj Thapa, Senior Superintendent of Police of the Armed Police Force Suresh Kumar Shrestha, and Assistant Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office Darchula Jyotsana Bhatt are members of the investigation committee.
Meanwhile, a meeting was held in the presence of Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand with the participation of Minister of State for Health and Population Umesh Shrestha, Home Secretary Maheshwar Neupane, and heads of all the three security agencies.
In the meeting, it has been emphasized to be ready for infection prevention, control, and treatment in view of the possibility of the third wave. The meeting has directed all service providers to make arrangements for the service recipients to enter the office only after fully complying with the health standards.
