The Qatari government has arrested 7,240 people for walking in public places without wearing masks. They were arrested for violating the rules when they went out of the house and walked in a public place without wearing a mask.
Similarly, 277 people staying in more than 4 peoples in private vehicles have been arrested. The ministry did not disclose the nationalities of those arrested. Authorities have so far prosecuted 209 people for violating preventive and precautionary measures required by the Council of Ministers on Infectious Diseases and Law No. 17 of 1990 to limit the spread of coronavirus, according to QN News.
