All 7 provinces are releasing the budget for the coming fiscal year 2078/89 today. The budget is being presented in the state assembly today due to the constitutional obligation to bring the budget on June 15.
The budget is being presented in Province 1 and Bagmati Province at 3 pm. State 2, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces are preparing to present the budget at 4 pm and Karnali at 1 pm.
The Gandaki state government, which presented its policy and program in the parliament yesterday only, is also bringing the budget today. Gandaki is preparing to present the budget at 4 am by passing the policy and program from the state assembly meeting to be held at 10 am. In Gandaki, Chief Minister Krishnachandra Nepali Pokhrel will present the budget himself.
