Dhangadhi: All services of banks and financial institutions will be closed in the Kailali district.
The District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCMC) Kailali has decided to shut down all services of banks and financial institutions except revenue filing and government transactions, but banks and financial institutions should make proper arrangements for the flow of services through ATMs and electronic systems for urgent payments, Information Officer of District Administration Office Kailali Shivraj Joshi informed.
In addition, employees of the Government of Nepal, banks and financial institutions, and people working in other essential services can move around on the basis of the identity card issued by the office.

The decision will take effect from 12 PM on Monday. The decision was taken at a meeting of the DCCMC chaired by Acting Chief District Officer of Kailali Hiralal Chaudhary on Monday saying that the corona infection was on the rise.
Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated by the global pandemic, with new variants of COVID-19 being reported in the district and the risk of infection is increasing day by day, with more people coming to the district hospital for treatment and the risk of infection increases.
A 15-point decision has been made saying that the ban will be tightened. The lockdown issued in Kailali has been extended till May 20.
