Division of work of UML leaders, district and state in-charge was also appointed

Kathmandu: CPN-UML has divided the tasks of the leaders. The division of work has taken place after a new working committee was elected from the 10th National Convention.

UML has issued an inter-party directive appointing heads of various departments as well as state and district in-charges.

While Chairman KP Sharma Oli is leading the party overall, Senior Vice Chairman Ishwor Pokharel has been given charge of the Policy Research Institute.

UML’s third-ranked vice-president Yubaraj Gyawali has been given the responsibility of coordinating the state and local levels and another vice-president Ashtalakshmi Shakya has been given the responsibility of coordinating the political affairs.

Another vice president, Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’, is in charge of diplomatic relations and national security.

While General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has been given the responsibility of coordinating the organizational work, Vice President Bishnu Poudel has been given the responsibility of monitoring the organizational work.

When Deputy Secretary-General Pradip Gyawali got the school department, Prithvi Subba Gurung got the responsibility of the head of the publicity and publication department.

Another deputy secretary-general, Bishnu Rimal, has been made head of the election department and finance and fund management. Standing committee member Ghanshyam Bhusal has been made the head of the finance and planning department.

Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has been given the charge of the Department of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management, Gokarna Bista has been given the charge of Energy, Yogesh Bhattarai has been given the charge of the Department of Health and Lekhraj Bhatta has been given the charge of Far-Western Province.

Standing committee member Mani Thapa has been given charge of the land management department.
