Italy wins the 6th major tournament by defeating England in penalty shoutout, Bonucci becomes the oldest player to score in final

Italy won the final of the Euro Cup played at Wembley Stadium in London. They defeated England 5-3 in a penalty shootout. Italy’s team has managed to win the Euro Cup trophy after 53 years. They last won this title in 1968 by defeating Yugoslavia. Also, it was Italy’s victory in the 34th consecutive match.

Italy’s Leonardo Banucci scored in the 67th minute of the match. With this, he became the oldest player to score in the final of the Euro Cup. His age was 34 years 71 days.
