Kanchanpur Police has celebrated “66th Police Day”

Mahendranagar: On Sunday, the “66th Police Day” of Nepal Police is being celebrated across the country with various programs. The District Police Office, Kanchanpur has also celebrated the “66th Police Day” with different programs.

On the occasion of Police Day, District Police Office, and District Traffic Police Office, Kanchanpur have conducted a program titled ‘Tapaiko mask khai’ (‘Where is your mask’).

An awareness program on the corona epidemic has been organized at Bhimdatta Municipality-04 Bus Park under the Community-Police Partnership Programme.

Police celebrate “Police Day” on the 23rd of Ashoj every year. According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, a coronavirus central program has been organized on the occasion of the day.

According to the police, a tree planting and sanitation program was also organized on the occasion of the day as per the ‘One Police, One Plant’ campaign.

Police have been active in spreading awareness through the program about the mandatory use of masks to prevent corona epidemics and the precautions that need to adopt to prevent infections.

The police also inspected the use of masks and distributed masks to those who did not wear masks in the Mahendranagar bus park and surrounding areas.

The chief guest of the program was SSP Janak Raj Pandey of Federal Police Unit Dhangadhi, Kailali.

Similarly, Kanchanpur Police Chief SP Umaprasad Chaturvedi, President of Udyog Banijya Sangha Jang Bahadur Malla, President of Hotel Association Jagdish Bhatt, Secretary of Community-Police Service Center Bimal Khadayat, Treasurer of Pawandut Transport Pvt. Ltd. Krishna Pant and other businessmen, workers, and police were present on the program.

Speaking on the program, SSP Janak Raj Pandey of Federal Police Unit Dhangadhi, Kailali stressed on the need to be vigilant to avoid corona.

He said that the corona epidemic could be easily defeated if people do not go out for unnecessary work, use masks when they go out, and meet the health standards set by the government.
