Nepal Electricity Authority Jumla Distribution Center has made public the schedule of load shedding saying that it could not supply as per the demand.
According to the NEA, load shedding will take place in Tundikhel, Bahini, Mahatgaon, Micha, Gairagaun, and Hospital areas from 12 noon to 12:30 noon and from 9:30 pm to 12 midnight.
Similarly, load shedding will take place in Vijayanagar Thulo, Vijayanagar Sano, Boharagaun, and Bus Park areas from 12 noon to 9:30 pm, according to the Information Authority Jumla.
According to the notice, the powerhouse will be closed every day from 2 am to 5 am, 8 am to 10 am, and 4 pm to 6 pm. If there is insufficient power in the distribution system during peak load, the customer’s line may be cut, the authority said.
Jumla has no electricity from the national transmission line. Residents of Jumla have been using electricity generated from local small hydropower projects.
