NEB Chairman Chandramani Poudel has discussed the cancellation of the exam and internal marking, claiming that even those who do not know ABCD will receive a certificate this way.
He said, “If there is such a political decision, illiterate people who do not know how to write the alphabet can get a +2 pass certificate. If there is no control mechanism until you reach the big class after having the system of passing through the lower level, you will send the mark without seeing the student, and therefore the board will certify it! This leads to a dire situation, the quality of education is alarming.”
