Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma also said that they have decided to accept grant assistance worth 41 crores from the Human Resource Development Scholarship received from the Japanese government.
She informed that it has been decided to approve USD 19.70 million assistance from the Global Partnership for Education for the school sector project.
She said she had decided to accept a loan of US$ 120 million from the World Bank for the school sector transformation programme.
She also informed that thy have decided to approve the Third Amendment Order 2080 on the establishment of the Foreign Affairs Studies Foundation Development Committee.
Likewise, the meeting gave in-principle approval for the new bill on customs duties.
Minister Sharma said that it has been decided to give in-principle approval for drafting a new bill related to customs duties and this decision has opened the way for drafting a new bill related to customs duties.
