Taplejung: The famous pilgrimage site of Pathibhara in Taplejung has been opened today. The Pathibhara Devi, which has been closed for the past five months due to the coronavirus epidemic, has been reopened.
The Pathibhara Area Development Board has stated that it has been decided to open Pathibhara from today as the impact of COVID-19 is diminishing and the main season for visiting Pathibhara has started.
According to a press release issued by the committee, the devotees are allowed to visit, worship, meditate and pray following the standards of health care.
The board has also requested the pilgrims visiting Pathibhara to adhere to the health safety standards imposed by the government as the risk of COVID has not been completely eradicated yet.
