Kathmandu: A massive civil movement against regression has demanded the immediate resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
They have demanded Oli’s resignation saying that he has failed to take action against the rapists and murderers who have trapped the constitution and democracy by dissolving the elected parliament.
Addressing the rally, which started from Basantapur and reached Bhadrakali via Ratna Park on Friday, rights activist Rajni Mila said, “Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli should resign immediately if there is little morality.”
Hima Bista of the Ross hashtag campaign against rape said that the rulers were to blame for the murder of Nirmala Pant, Samjhana B.K, Bhagarathi Bhatt, and others.
She called women from villages and cities to stand up against the reactionary rulers who suppress women’s voices and do not provide peace and security. In the program, she said, “I am halfway through, now the girls have to get up from village to village, city to city.”
