Baitadi: Sanskrit subject will be taught in schools of Baitadi. Sanskrit subject will be taught from class 6 to 8 in the schools within Patan Municipality.
The meeting of the municipal executive has decided to teach Sanskrit in the schools within the municipality.
Birkharaj Bhatta, head of the education department of the municipality, said that the decision was taken to teach Sanskrit subject from class 6 to 8 as the study of Sanskrit would help in developing linguistic knowledge and also in linguistic purity.
Earlier, Sanskrit was being taught in two schools in the district.
