Tatopani Customs Office collects 3.4 billion revenue; Nearly 2 billion more than the target

Kathmandu, July 23. In the twelve months of the previous fiscal year, the  Customs Office on the Northern border of Tatopani collected Rs 3.42 billion in revenue.

Chief Customs Officer Narad Gautam told reporters that the office had a target of collecting Rs 1.46 billion customs duty in the year 2021/22. “The collection exceeded by 2.34 times in the same period,” he noted.

Gautam further conmtinued, “We have a target of collecting Rs 4.63 billion in the current fiscal year of 2022/23.”
