Kathmandu, July 28. Following the instructions of the prime minister’s cabinet, a six-member technical committee has been formed to examine the construction development of the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium.
Dr. Damodar Regmi, secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, told reporters that the special team is led by the joint secretary of the Ministry of Urban Development Prakrina Tuladhar.
In the next 21 days, the committee will visit the site and conduct technical examinations, and figure out cost and time estimates. The team will also conduct an assessment on whether the stadium meets international standards in the future.
“The committee will submit a report within three weeks from its formation,” Regmi added.
